About Us

PCSA Kent is a registered charity formed in 2006. It is a patient-led organisation committed to supporting men and women whose lives have been affected by prostate cancer. In addition to offering support, the Association is actively involved in raising public awareness of the disease and raising funds to purchase specialist medical equipment for Kent hospitals.

We help men of all ages and their partners by offering support before, during and after diagnosis and treatment.

If your life, or the life of someone close to you, has been affected by prostate cancer and you would like to talk to someone who understands the challenges you face, please call us on 03333 202 360. Your call will be directed to the home number of one of our experienced Association members and will be treated in confidence. Please call our helpline or talk to a member of the Association listed below.

Whilst members are not qualified to offer medical advice, they can offer support and understanding based on their own experiences as a prostate cancer patient or that of a family member. If they should be unavailable when you call, please leave a brief message and telephone number and they will return your call as soon as possible. Alternatively, if you prefer, please call back later. We will always be pleased to hear from you.

By telephoning, there is of course no obligation to join the Association. People deal with the diagnosis of prostate cancer in different ways, and we understand this. However, if you are unsure about what a support group has to offer, why not come along to a meeting and see for yourself. You will be made most welcome.

Our email address is support@pcsakent.org if you would prefer to contact us in this way. Or get in touch via our contact form.
