Welcome to Prostate Cancer Support Association Kent

Prostate Cancer Support Association Kent (PCSA Kent) is a registered charity formed in 2006. Number: 1166137. As a patient led organisation, our main aim is to provide friendship and support to anyone whose life has been affected by prostate cancer.

We have 3 main aims:

  • Provide support for patients and their family & friends.
  • Raise funds for specialist prostate cancer related equipment for Kent hospitals.
  • Raise awareness of prostate cancer.

We provide support through our monthly meetings, over the telephone, by email or through our contact form. Whilst we cannot offer medical advice, we can offer valuable emotional and practical help.

Many men and women find it helpful to talk to someone that has had personal experience of prostate cancer.

We Support In A Number Of Ways

Whilst our members are not qualified to give medical advice they can offer support based on their own experience. No matter how much information you may receive from the hospital our members have found it is helpful to talk to members who have made the journey themselves.

The group regularly organises social events for members, family and friends. Past activities have included cream teas, Christmas dinners, archery and croquet events.

About Us

In addition to offering personal support, PCSA Kent is actively involved in raising public awareness of the disease and has an extremely successful fundraising programme.

Join Us

You are welcome to attend our meetings as a guest with no obligation to join. If you decide to join us, you’ll need to fill in a membership form which has all the details you will need or you can join at one of our meetings.

Meetings

The group currently meets at 10.30 on the last Wednesday of the month (except for December) at the Old Gate Inn, 162-164 New Dover Road, Canterbury CT1 3EL.
