Ewan Flack from NHS Kent and Medway Talking Therapies spoke to our group today.

This is a free service for anyone that is experiencing worry or anxiety in their life or indeed anyone that has been diagnosed with cancer or other illnesses and finds it difficult to cope.

The service, which is designed to help people manage common mental health problems, is NHS approved and is shaped to the needs and circumstances of each individual. Digital app based support can also be provided. There is no need to go through a GP as individuals are able to self-refer.

You can visit their website to find out more about what this key service has to offer.

NHS Kent and Medway Talking Therapies say: NHS Talking Therapies in Kent and Medway provides free, confidential mental health support for adults aged 17.5 and over who are registered with a local GP. We help people manage common difficulties such as stress, anxiety and depression, and make it easy to access support through self-referral.
