Our first Outreach Day in 2026 was held, with grateful thanks to the manager and staff of Tesco Extra at Whitstable, on Saturday 21st February. We had the opportunity to share information Prostate Cancer and about the Aquablation machine we are fund raising for on our display.
This Outreach session raised £454.78 thanks to the generosity of Tesco customers and the efforts of volunteers from our association.
Our next Outreach session will take place at the Tesco Extra Superstore at Westwood Cross, Broadstairs on Saturday the 21st of March between 10.00AM and 4.00PM. We will be happy to speak to anyone who has any concerns about prostate cancer themselves or any family members or friends. We cannot and will not give any medical advice but can tell you about our own experiences and point you in the right direction to obtain professional help.
We look forward to seeing you on the day, but if you are unable to attend then please do not hesitate to contact us or even drop into our monthly meeting at The Old Gate Inn, 162-164 New Dover Rd, Canterbury CT1 3EL (check for directions on Google maps). This is immediately next to the New Dover Road Park and Ride and are held on the last Wednesday of every month -except December – from 10.00 until 12.00
